This event is aimed at those wanting to develop skills in Godly Play story telling. There are now many churches and church groups who are utilising the Godly Play approach who have some understanding of what it is about, but need a practical training opportunity to have a go at story telling.
This practical workshop aims to refresh people's understanding of the Godly Play approach, and then to explore story telling skills through practical working, looking at the various different genres that the annual Godly Play cycle draw on.
The workshop will be led by the Revd Mary Hawes, National Children’s Adviser for the Church of England, and Godly Play trained teacher.
